How to fix any opencart error?
To troubleshoot any opencart error you need to make following steps:
1.Enable error reporting.
To enable error reporting go to Opencart > System > Settings > Edit > Server and click on the “Display Errors” and “Log Errors” options. We would suggest keeping the “Log Errors” option enabled if you are on a live site. If you are in developing mode, then it is recommended to enable the “Display Errors”, otherwise keep this one disabled.
2. Check opencart error log,error.txt file is located on “system/logs/error.txt”,check this file if contains php errors like
PHP Notice: Undefined index:
PHP Notice: Error: Could not load language
Warning: Invalid argument supplied
Notice: Trying to get property of non-object
Notice: Error: Table doesn’t exist
3.Check htaccess file and database.
Check htaccess file.The .htaccess file is located on root of your opencart directory.Please use a ftp manager to access it,beacause is hidden.
Check database connection and credentials.Database detalist are stored on config.php file,located on root for your opencart store.
